About
My name is Tim Seehusen and I have been a member of the Olivia Fire Department since June of 1989. I have served as Captain, Assistant Chief and now have been the Chief since 2009. Besides fighting fires, the OFD has done Rescue since the mid 1980's and in 2019 developed a Technical Rescue Team. The TRT specializes in High Angle and Confined Space rescues and is staffed by members of the OFD and members of various Renville County fire departments. Olivia is located at the intersection of US Hwy #71 & US Hwy #212. I am proud of the accomplishments of the Olivia Fire Department and all the Renville County Fire Departments who have come together to provide Technical Rescue services to a large portion of Central and Western Minnesota.
